Zhang Yichi

Ms. Zhang specializes in investment projects, corporate restructuring and corporate establishment as well as Chinese labor law.

Ms. Zhang studied law and German at the University of Political Science and Law in Beijing and at Wuhan University. Ms. Zhang completed her Master's Degree at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich.

After graduation from university, Ms. Zhang worked for more than four years as the Deputy Head of the Legal Department at the German Chamber of Commerce in Beijing (AHK) to provide German companies with support in entering the Chinese market. Subsequently, she was responsible for the legal department of an international German company, especially for investment projects and M&A transactions.

Because of her diverse work experience, Ms. Zhang has an established network of contacts with Chinese authorities. This facilitates and speeds up the necessary approval and registration processes for corporate establishment and restructurings, which is highly valued by our German customers in practice.

Ms. Zhang was admitted to the bar in 2008 and joined the WZR team in 2016.

Ms. Zhang is fluent in Chinese, German and English.
